Tia Tokić (b. 1994) is a fashion designer based in Boorloo, Western Australia. Formerly known as “VOLIM” (2014-2024), where she collaborated with Lauren Jane Salt (florist/ceramics). Tokić focuses on creating sustainable garments, challenging the standard (un)ethical practices in fashion production.
She has developed a zero-waste system that captures all textile waste created in her made-to-order production. Tiny scraps are reused as filling or in textile artworks, and larger off-cuts are reconstructed into unique, organically shaped “scrap” garments. Her wearable designs centre around scalability to suit as many body types and sizes as possible.
She will be releasing her new collection in 2025
